Sue designed our house from start to finish, working and developing with what started as a sketch on a napkin. We wanted a natural home with sustainable values and her input was invaluable in making the house fit our needs. As owner builders Sue visited the site several times to monitor progress and to give us input and ideas. She has been super to work with, her personal approach and flexibility to incorporate our ideas (and changing them) has been terrific. Furthermore we used a building block that was brand new to the area and Sue took time to research the block and design a house that gave us the most economical use of our materials.

Sue's services as a planner made our remodeling project so much more manageable. Her plans were clear and detailed, making it easier for us to communicate with our contractor and the sub-contractors.
She interviewed us to learn what we wanted and how we worked in the kitchen. Her design has proved to be very workable for us. She saved us some money, too. She knew what was available and made lots of practical recommendations.
Sue helped us with essential details that we would never have thought of on our own, such as lighting and placement of electrical outlets. At her suggestion we have both recessed can lights and under cabinet lighting. The electricians grumbled and tried to talk us out of so many lights, but we stuck to the plan. We're very glad we did. We're very happy with our new kitchen and entry.
